Word, the sina qua non software. Every word in the blog and blog owes a debt to Word.

Dragon Naturally Speaking for dictation (See my post of Feb. 23, 2008: dictation with 5 references).

Concordance, to find posts and understand the conceptual structure of my material (See my post of Nov. 20, 2006: Concordance software and its insights; and Nov. 22, 2008: analysis of first 3,700 posts.).

VBA, to accelerate sorting and analyzing posts (See my post of Jan. 11, 2009: Laura Miller and VBA macros).

Excel to create tables and sort and pivot

Clustify, to cluster related posts (See my post of Jan. 8, 2009: concept mapping with Clustify.).

TexTract to create two kinds of indexes

Three software packages may contribute in the future: Jigsaw, other data-mapping packages, and Access.
